Welcome to RK Humsafar ("RK Humsafar", "we", "us", "our"), operated by RK Humsafar , having its office at Mumbai. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application and services, including our online matrimony portal ("Portal Service") and our assisted matchmaking service ("Personalised Service"), together called the "Services". By registering or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Child Safety Policy and Report Misuse Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and do not require any physical or digital signature.

1.1 Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (women) or 21 years old (men), or the minimum legal marriage age under applicable law, to create a profile for yourself.
• You must be legally free to marry under the laws and personal laws applicable to you (unmarried, divorced, widowed, or otherwise legally eligible).
• You must be mentally capable of entering into a contract.
• Parents or guardians may create a profile on behalf of an eligible son, daughter or ward, with that person's knowledge and consent.
• Minors are strictly not permitted to use the Services or to be listed as prospective brides or grooms.
• We may refuse, suspend or terminate access to anyone who does not meet these conditions.

1.2 Account Registration

• You must provide true, accurate, current and complete information, and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
• One person may hold only one account, unless we permit otherwise in writing.
• You must inform us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

1.3 Our Services

• Portal Service: A self-service platform where members can create profiles, search, send interests, chat and connect. Some features require a paid membership plan.
• Personalised Service: An assisted service where a relationship manager understands your requirements, shortlists profiles, and coordinates introductions. The scope, duration and number of profiles are as described in the plan you purchase.

We are a facilitator that helps people connect. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, get married, or be satisfied with any match.

1.4 Profile Content and Verification

• You are solely responsible for the information, photographs and documents you upload.
• You confirm you have the right to upload any photograph and that it is a genuine, recent photograph of the person the profile is about.
• We may review, verify, edit, reject or remove any profile or content at our discretion, but we do not promise that all information on the Services is accurate.
• A verified badge means the specified verification steps were completed. It is not a guarantee of character, background, financial status or intentions.
• We may ask for identity or other documents to verify your profile.

1.5 Your Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading or impersonating information, or create a fake or duplicate profile.
• Use the Services for any purpose other than genuine matrimonial or matchmaking purposes, including dating-only, commercial solicitation, advertising, marketing or recruitment.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, blackmail, defame or discriminate against any person.
• Ask for or accept money, gifts, dowry or financial help from another member, or engage in any scam or fraud. Dowry demands are illegal under the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
• Upload obscene, sexually explicit, violent, hateful or unlawful content.
• Share another person's contact details or photos without their consent.
• Collect or scrape data from the Services, use bots, or interfere with the security or operation of the Services.
• Upload or share any content involving minors in a sexual or exploitative context, or attempt to arrange the marriage of a minor. Such conduct will be reported to authorities.
• Violate any applicable law, including the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006.

1.6 Meeting and Interacting with Members

You are responsible for your own decisions and interactions. We strongly advise you to verify a match's details independently (identity, employment, family, marital status, and other claims), meet in public places, inform family or friends, and never send money to someone you have met through the Services. We are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline.

1.7 Paid Plans and Payments

• Fees, features and validity of each plan are shown at the time of purchase. All prices are in Indian Rupees and exclusive of applicable taxes including GST.
• Payment must be made through the payment methods we offer. We may use third-party payment gateways, whose terms also apply.
• Plans do not renew automatically unless we clearly tell you otherwise and you have agreed.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• We may change prices or plans for future purchases. Changes will not affect plans already purchased.

1.8 Personalised Service Terms

• Matches are suggested based on the information and preferences you give us. Accurate and complete information helps us serve you better.
• A profile shared with you is a suggestion, not a recommendation or guarantee of suitability.
• Timelines are estimates. Progress depends on the availability of suitable profiles and the responses of other families.
• You must not bypass us to take advantage of the introductions we made during your plan period without completing your commitments under the plan.
• You agree to inform us in good faith once you have finalised a match so we can close your service.

1.9 Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, software, text and trademarks on the Services belong to RK Humsafar or its licensors and are protected by law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and use it to operate and promote the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy. Success stories or testimonials will be published only with your consent.

1.10 Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or delete your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, provide false information, misuse the Services, or if required by law. Where an account is terminated for breach, fees paid are not refundable except as required by law. You may delete your account at any time from your settings or by contacting us.

1.11 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any profile is accurate, genuine or suitable.

1.12 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RK Humsafar and its directors, employees and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your dealings with other members, inaccurate profile information, or events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the [3/6/12] months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.

1.13 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold RK Humsafar harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

1.14 Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our Grievance Officer is:

1.15 Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra. 1.16 Changes to Terms and General
